The JBL STAGE3 GEN2 968MF is a high-performance 6x9" 3-way coaxial speaker set designed to replace factory speakers with professional-grade audio. Part of the second generation of the Stage3 series, these speakers utilize JBL’s patented Plus One woofer cone technology, which increases the overall cone surface area by up to 35% compared to other speakers in its class. This results in higher sensitivity and better mid-bass response from a very small footprint.

The Stage3 Gen2 968MF handles 80 Watts RMS (160 Watts per pair) and features a rigid polypropylene cone reinforced with 10% glass fiber for durability at high volumes. For the high frequencies, it uses PEI (Polyetherimide) balanced dome tweeters, which provide smooth, clear treble without becoming harsh. With an 92 dB sensitivity and a 4-ohm impedance, these speakers are exceptionally efficient, making them an ideal "drop-in" upgrade for vehicles being powered by a factory head unit or a small aftermarket amplifier.
