12V to 6V voltage converter for original reverse cameras 10-671

Cars' original cameras are often powered by 6V or 8v power. This often comes from the original radio headunit, so if this is removed to fit a new headunit the camera will need a new 6v supply.

Drops 12V DC to 6V DC to provide a suitable power supply to a cars original parking camera.

Use with camera retention interfaces that do not have a voltage dropper built in.

If you use 12v you will often burn-out and destroy the car's original camera.

Wired as follows:

Red = 12v input
Blue = 6v output
Black = Chassis Ground
