With its solid construction and high efficiency amplifier stage, the PowerAmpster III delivers 2 x 100W in stereo or 1 x 200W in bridge mode, giving it the flexibility to perform in both two channel music systems and more demanding AV setups. It drives loudspeakers with authority, control, and precision, while maintaining Tangent’s clean Scandinavian design aesthetic.
Flexible Connectivity
The PowerAmpster III features both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, allowing easy integration into a wide range of systems. It is the perfect partner for the Tangent PreAmp III or other preamplifiers when additional power and dynamics are required.
A built-in 12V trigger input allows the amplifier to switch on and off automatically with a connected preamplifier, helping create a simple and well-integrated system.
Smart and Efficient Operation
The PowerAmpster III also includes an Auto On/Off function, which detects an incoming signal and powers the amplifier accordingly. When no signal is present, it automatically switches to standby after five minutes to reduce unnecessary power consumption.
Its integrated power supply supports both 100 to 120V and 220 to 240V, making it suitable for use in multiple regions.

The PowerAmpster III comes in updated packaging, with almost all plastic replaced by cardboard for a cleaner, sturdier, and more practical unboxing experience.
