In today’s factory audio systems, getting a full-range signal can be a challenge. But with the LINK1000.5PLUS, there's no need for an external processor. Easily sum the tweeter, mid, and woofer signals of the factory stereo system together to achieve a full-range audio experience. This means you get the rich bass, clear vocals, and crisp highs that makes your music come alive.

Start/Stop Compatibility

With over 95% of new vehicles featuring start/stop technology, aftermarket audio can face interruptions when the engine shuts off and battery voltage drops. The LINK1000.5PLUS operates smoothly even at voltages as low as 7 volts, ensuring your music never stops when the engine does.

Adaptive OEM Loading: No More Muting

Modern vehicles can mute audio systems when they detect a disconnected speaker. It’s a safety feature, as the vehicles senses there is no speaker present, it will completely mute the audio as a precaution. Wavtech’s adaptive OEM loading feature prevents this by mimicking the factory speaker’s load, tricking the vehicle into keeping the audio on. It’s smart technology that ensures seamless integration with complex vehicle systems.

Whilst there are amplifiers out there with built in loading, none of the are adaptive like Wavtech's. Picture it like a mirror, the amplifier see's what the car needs and sends the required load back to the radio. Pretty cool, right?

The link1000.5mini features built-in summing for up to 6-channels of input, so you won’t need to purchase an external processor in applications where a full range signal is not present. Like all Wāvtech amplifiers, it is compatible with Start/Stop systems. It also features 12dB per octave crossover on the 4 main channels and Wāvtech’s proprietary bassFREQ preamp with 24dB crossover and subsonic filter on the mono channel. The optional linkRC can be used to control the level of the subwoofer from the front of the vehicle.
