VW Crafter, Grand California, MAN TGE 2017 onwards Complete Single Din Facia Kit with CAN ignition FK-399

The fitting kit includes a car radio fascia adapter panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket car radio upgrade. The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.
This fascia is supplied with side fixing brackets so a radio can be installed without the need for a fitting cage. The fascia can also be used with a 103mm fitting cage.

A radio replacement adapter cable is included too. The adapter cable allows the fitting of an aftermarket stereo upgrade by adapting the original 52 pin quadlock connector in the vehicle to standard aftermarket ISO connectors.
The built-in CANbus interface makes installation plug and play and also provides an ignition power supply to the new radio, this saves needing to find an ignition power supply from the fusebox. The CANbus interface will also give an additional output of your choice, either illumination, handbrake, speed pulse or reverse gear.
The cable has an extension to allow the original radio to be reconnected in order to change some of the vehicle settings such as time and date and VSC on/off.
Fitting instructions are supplied with the adapter cable.

An antenna adapter cable is in the fitting kit, this cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector.
The adapter cable has a built-in module that provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire that needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo.

Suitable for fitting Volkswagen Crafter (2017 onwards) vehicles with factory-fitted composition audio (Type 1 or Type 2) head units (As Pictured Below)

Fascia Installation
Behind the original radio, there is only space for a Single din radio chassis or a slim chassis/ modular head unit (maximum mounting depth for the aftermarket radio of 55mm)

This is due to the lower section behind the radio has the ducts for the air vents.

Careful attention needs to be paid to the radio that is to be fitted and the modifications that may be required, either to the fascia kit or the vehicle.
