VIBE BLACKAIR8D2S-V3 - 8" Shallow Subwoofer

The BlackAir 8” Slim Subwoofer is designed to provide effective bass reproduction where installation depth and enclosure volume are restricted, using the same slimline design principles as the wider BlackAir range.

The shallow mount design allows the 8” subwoofer to be installed in small custom enclosures under 1 cubic foot, making it suitable for a wide range of vehicles and compact installations. Its slim profile increases mounting flexibility while maintaining reliable low-frequency performance.

The subwoofer features a lightweight paper composite cone with a foam surround, supporting efficient cone movement and controlled bass response. Performance has been optimised using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), allowing the motor assembly and voice coil components to be designed for real-world operating conditions.

A dual voice coil (D2) configuration provides flexible wiring options, making it easier to match amplifier impedance requirements. Quick-release spring terminals ensure secure and straightforward connection during installation.

Built with a unique basket design that encloses the magnet within the structure, the BlackAir 8” increases mounting options in shallow enclosures while maintaining strength and durability. This makes it a practical solution for installations where space is limited but a dedicated subwoofer is still required.
