Rubber surround
A rubber surround reduces excessive vibration and supports membrane deflection with less distortion. The result is solid bass response at high volumes so your system can reproduce sound loud and clear.
Paper cone with polypropylene cap
A diaphragm connected directly to the voice coil in combination with the foam rubber surround produces deep, dense bass. The wide deflection design ensures rich sound.
The lightweight paper cone diaphragm connects directly to the voice coil and reproduces dense low frequencies. The injection moulded polypropylene cover cap provides the necessary rigidity and optimises self-damping, so that bass sounds powerful and full.
Double spider for progressive altitude
Higher rated power and optimised airflow thanks to the acoustically optimised spider, which ensures faster and more precise damping of the speaker cone. For better signal integrity and to avoid interference to sound reproduction, the main cable of the voice coil is also connected to the spider, making cable routing easier.
Structure with wide deflection
The voice coil is held by the double layer spider. This avoids unwanted depth lowering and also provides a wide deflection to reproduce strong bass sounds.
