This kit is suitable for VW car models with a single Fakra antenna connection on the back of the original radio

This complete stereo upgrade fitting kit includes:

Single Fakra antenna adapter (Part of 20-156A-IGN)

Phantom powered Fakra to DIN antenna adapter, this is prewired into the quadlock to ISO harness.

Quadlock to ISO radio adapter harness, with CANbus ignition (20-156A-IGN)

This interface generates a key present ignition supply so no extra ignition feed needs to be provided. The key present ignition feature will continue to give an ignition supply until the key is removed from the ignition barrel.

Double DIN fascia adapter panel (50-714)

Car radio Fascia adaptor panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket Double Din car radio upgrade. Dimensions: 184mm x 114mm.

The Fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.

The Fascia adapter panel takes a 113mm high cage, this is the size of cages supplied with all the major brand head unit manufactures. If a cage is needed, we sell a matching cage with part number 51-013.

Compatibility

This fitting kit is compatible with Volkswagen vehicles fitting with OEM factory fitted RCD210 head units. These units were fitted in various VW car models and only have a single Fakra connection on the back. Please see pictures below.
