Magic power pack

Rockford Fosgate's gamechanging PM100X1 package contains two seriously small, full-range mono amps, each one delivering 60 watts RMS to a speaker — that's more than twice the power of a typical factory radio or aftermarket receiver. Employing their patent-pending "FreeLoad" technology, each PM100X1 uses a receiver's output as its power source, so it doesn't need a power wire running to the battery (although you will have to run a ground wire). 

New design

This revolutionary amp stores voltage from the receiver's output in a large power supply reservoir for boosting its output, allowing Rockford Fosgate to pack all that power in such a small chassis. Instead of having to find a spot for a larger 2-channel amp, you can mount these tiny amps just about anywhere you want, even behind the speakers.

Control

Each amp comes ready to work with almost any radio or receiver — no complicated gain control adjustments are necessary. A selectable high-pass filter lets you tune the sound to fit your speakers. You'll also find an input impedance switch, which you can use to match the amp's input to the output of a receiver capable of driving 2-ohm loads.

Powersport and marine ready

A rubber switch cover prevents dirt and water from getting inside and doing any damage. With the cover in place, the amp carries an IPX6 water intrusion rating, which means it'll tolerate getting sprayed but not submerged. The amp's compact size (4" x 3") makes it perfect for powersports vehicles and boats, where space is precious.
