The Ti subwoofers are the perfect fusion of advanced acoustic design and state-of-the-art speaker technology for an unforgettable punchy and precise bass that will impress even in any SPL competition. Equipped with high-precision wound and high-temperature-resistant 63mm/2.5" Japanese voice coils for even better performance and durability, a huge 120oz double magnet and a radially ventilated drive for 30% better heat dissipation than the previous model. The double centering spider has the ultra-long voice coil firmly under control and thus avoids vibrations in the drive or power losses.

The connections for the loudspeaker cables have been specifically grouped together on one side of the aluminium die-casting basket in order to increase the installation flexibility and allow for optically appealing installations. The subwoofers are optimized for both sealed or vented Enclosures - for incredibly precise and powerful bass or brute SPL performance. The recommended power rating for optimum sound is 400-600W RMS, available as 2x2Ohm or 2x2Ohm.

400 - 600W RMS is the optimal power range for every Ti3 subwoofer. In a closed or bass reflex cabinet, the woofer will exploit its full potential and be very durable. Firing a Ti3 Sub with more than 600W RMS generates only significantly more heat in the drive with minimal power increase.

Contrary to popular car audio myths, subwoofers do not need as much power as you think. A well engineered subwoofer such as the Ti3 that has the proper balance of efficiency, compliance and excursion will reach extremely loud levels with much less power than most users would expect.

Radial pole plate ventilation

Both pole plates are neatly machined and the whole thing is precisely manufactured. The voice coil is wound on a 2,5 inch (63mm) beam and blackened for better heat radiation. In addition to the pole core bore, there is a ring of holes to ventilate the cavity underneath the voice coil and to provide up to 30% better cooling for the voice coil.
