Complete stereo upgrade fitting kit to install a Double DIN aftermarket radio and retain the use of the steering wheel audio controls in Nissan Elgrand E51 vehicles (WITH BASIC AUDIO)
This kit is only suitable for aftermarket head-units with resistive programmable steering controls (KEY1, KEY2 or SWC1, SWC2) and 3.5mm jack.
This complete head unit fitting kit includes:

Steering control harness for self learning head-units (20-134-SWC)
Nissan radio replacement adapter cable, allows the fitting of an aftermarket car stereo upgrade by adapting the original 10 and 6 pin Nissan connectors to standard aftermarket ISO connectors.
This cable includes the power and speaker supply and will return the use of the steering wheel controls. This cable is mostly used in cars pre 2005. Check that the car has the twin 10 and 6 pin connectors at the back of the radio.
PLEASE NOTE: This kit is only suitable for aftermarket head-units with resistive programmable steering controls (KEY1, KEY2 or SWC1, SWC2) and 3.5mm jack.
3.5mm jack resistive programable patch lead (20-3.5-SWC)
Patch lead for use with 20-XXX-SWC ISO steering wheel control cables to convert from 2 wire learning to 3.5mm jack. Use with resistive programable aftermarket units like Blaupunkt, Grundig or Road Angle. Also for some Kenwood, JVC and Sony units using their "CUSTOM" setting for steering control input by resistive programming. This patch lead plugs into the 2 or 3 wire resistive programable fly leads of the 20-XXX-SWC cable converts into the 3.5mm socket to then be plugged into the back of any head-unit that has resistive programmable voltage steering control input.
Antenna adapter (21-114)
Nissan 2 prong female antenna connector to male DIN car aerial antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from the two pin Nissan antenna connector in the car to a standard aftermarket male DIN connector, this is used when fitting a new aftermarket stereo.
Double DIN Fascia adapter (50-669)
Replacement car audio fascia to enable you to change the original radio in the car to a Double DIN aftermarket version. The fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. Suitable for Nissan Elgrand E51 (Right Hand Drive) vehicles.

Is my aftermarket head unit capable of resistive programming?
Many Unbranded, Chinese and other aftermarket head units have the capability of being able to retain the vehicle's original steering wheel control features via resistive programming. Our steering wheel control harnesses eradicate the need for a separate steering wheel control interface when fitting an aftermarket head unit with resistive programming features.
To identify whether the aftermarket head unit you are fitting has resistive programming visit the manufacturer's website and look under the connectivity features for the head unit. Some manufacturers describe it differently to others. For example: Kenwood describe the DMX5020DABS model as having a "Programmable OEM Steering wheel Remote Function"
