This head unit fitting kit includes:

Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable (21-106)

Male Fakra to Male DIN antenna adapter cable. This cable adapts from a Farka antenna connection at the back of the cars original radio to a standard aftermarket DIN antenna connection to allow the fitting of an aftermarket radio upgrade. This is a passive adapter cable, not suitable for cars that need a phantom power supply to turn on the antenna amplifier.

Antenna Turn on for Mercedes Audio 10,15 and 20 Radios (21-160-ANT)

Antenna Turn on for selected Mercedes radios with a quadlock connection. Connect to back of the quadlock on Mercedes Audio 10,15 and 20 radio units to turn on the antenna.

Steering wheel control interface (29-UC-050-MB2)

This CANbus interface will allow you to retain the audio steering wheel controls when installing an after market head unit in various Mercedes vehicles.

This interface will also allow the steering wheel controls to access the display screen menu.

The CANbus interface will also give out CAN ignition, speed pulse, reverse gear and hand brake signals.

This part is an alternative to 49-MB-02

SLK Note: Use this interface for later models R171 with the steering control buttons in a circular cluster. This change of steering wheel happened around 2008 models

UNICAN patch lead set (29-UCCAB-SET)

Patch cable set to connect a UNICAN interface between an aftermarket head unit and the steering wheel controls. Can be used with Alpine, Kenwood, JVC (single wire), Pioneer, Sony and Chinese/Resistive Programmable head units with either two wires or a 3.5mm jack.

Mercedes Double DIN car audio fascia adapter (50-711)

Car radio Fascia adaptor panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket double DIN car radio upgrade. The Fascia adaptor allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio.

Dimensions: 184mm x 114mm

The Fascia adapter panel takes a 113mm high cage, this is the size of cages supplied by all major brand head unit manufacturers. If a cage is needed, we sell a matching cage with part number 51-013.
