Kicker designed their PXA1000.5 five-channel amplifier so bikers, off-roaders, and boaters can enjoy clean, powerful music over the noise of the motors, wind, and spray. And this amp is small enough to fit almost anywhere in whatever kind of vehicle you have, will keep playing even after a short dunking underwater, and will survive a good powerwash when the fun's over for the day. All the adjustment controls are inside the amp, protected from the elements, and only accessible by removing the water-tight operation panel cover from the bottom of the amp.
Power and tunability
The PXA1000.5 can power four speakers with 100 watts RMS each, whether they're standard 4-ohm speakers or high-performance low-impedance components, plus power a subwoofer with up to 600 watts RMS at the same time. In 3-channel mode it can drive two loudspeakers with 200 watts RMS each while powering a sub with 600 watts. Selectable high- and low-pass filters customize the sound to fit your speakers and subs. Separate subwoofer controls include a bass boost to enhance low-end impact and an optional wired remote to control the bass from the driver's seat.
