Small size, minimal heat and lots of power — Class-D amplifier design offers significant advantages. And our NexD™ switching technology adds even more, using enhanced pulse width modulation techniques to boost the amplifier’s bandwidth while minimising distortion and improving efficiency.
CLEAN, POWERFUL, RELIABLE
The 4-channel amp churns out 400 watts of total power — 100 watts from each channel into a 2-ohm load (14.4 volts, 1% THD). The 6-channel amp outputs 800 watts of total power with an additional pair of channels capable of 200 watts each into a 2-ohm load (14.4 volts, 1% THD). All RD channel pairs are bridgeable for maximum application flexibility.
STUDIO-GRADE SIGNAL PROCESSING
This RD series amplifier’s signal processing features include high- or low-pass 12-decibel/octave filters for each channel pair, with continuously variable frequency selection from 50–500 Hz. The 6-channel model offers triple high-pass filters or full 3-way crossover capability.
LED CLIPPING INDICATORS
LED clipping indicators on the control panel let you quickly set each channel pair’s input sensitivity, without the need for additional test equipment.
EASY CONNECTIVITY
With “input type” switches on the stereo channel sections, RD series amps can eliminate the need for Y-adapters when bridging stereo output channels.
