The C6-650cw features JL Audio's proprietary cast alloy frame with advanced cooling technology, so it'll keep pounding without generating excess heat, one of the true enemies of accurate sound. A mineral-filled polypropylene cone and durable rubber composite surround ensure longevity and smooth response. Its advanced dust cap sets this speaker apart from others in its class by extending the speaker's frequency response so the driver will blend in gracefully in a 2- or 3-way system — and always sound phenomenal. JL Audio also includes a handsome mesh grille to round out the look.

Pairs well with your active system

Each C6 speaker is sold à la carte to give you the freedom to design whatever system your ears desire. You'll need an active crossover to use C6 speakers — JL Audio recommends using their TwK™ 88 digital signal processor or a VXi amplifier with built-in digital signal processing. Either option gives you access to the awesome sound-shaping power of JL Audio's TüN audio-tuning software, which lets you get really tweaky through your laptop or mobile device. JL Audio engineers designed the C6-650cw for neutral, uncolored sound, so that you can use TüN to craft exactly the right sound for you and your vehicle.
