Recoil 4-Channel 80W adjustable high-to-low level subwoofer amplifier, Line Output Converter (LOC) with a built-in amplifier remote trigger. This device is designed to convert 4 channels of speaker-level audio into 4 channels of line-level audio that can be used by car audio amplifiers.
Vehicle application:
| Make | Model | Years | Notes |
| Hyundai | i30 | 2017 onward | 3rd Gen (PD) |
This interface detects an audio signal and generates an amplifier turn on signal based on this, the amplifier turn on signal stays on for 60 seconds after the audio signal disappears. This allows the amplifier to stay turned on between tracks and during moments of silent audio.
Features and Specifications
The line output converter is capable of handling 80 watts per channel of continuous input without overheating. The input circuitry is designed to correct the crossover distortion commonly found on standard LOCs while providing a high-to-low level stepdown of 6:1.
The output audio level is also easily adjustable using the on-board high-quality potentiometers. The remote output/ amplifier trigger is rated at 500mA (+12V) and can easily handle an outboard relay if additional current is needed.
The remote output will trigger instantaneously when the Line Output Converter (LOC) detects a DC voltage on the White, Left + audio input wire above 5V or a very low audio signal. It will shut off 60 seconds after no signal is detected.
Installation
The LOC should be installed on a stereo's speaker output wires or the output wires on an original OEM factory-fitted amplifier of up to 80 watts per channel. These wires can usually be found behind the stereo in the vehicle's dash, on the output of an original OEM amplifier, or on the input terminals of the vehicle's original speakers.
Please refer to the wiring diagram on the instructions for the input connections.
