Pioneer’s new TS-A speakers are designed to meet the preference for loud and powerful sound. The line-up employs a multi-layer mica matrix (MMM) woofer cone and new diaphragm for the highs, both made of exceptionally light materials that can efficiently produce high-frequency and speedy sound. The material also produces an extremely rigid cone with low mass, which results in exceptional sound performance while maintaining high sensitivity. A revised magnetic circuit used on the 6×9” models
results in even more power and loudness. All new speakers from the line offer increased nominal power handling for better reliability.

The TS-A speakers have been upgraded to use an external crossover instead of an internal one. The result is that there is no limitation on space to better utilise components inside the crossover itself, whilst still maintaining a competitive price point.

Aesthetics of the new speakers are enhanced with the unique texture of the MMM cone material that stands out against the redesigned cosmetics, revitalising the look of any door or parcel shelf when installed.
