Our multimedia interface is a revolutionary product that allows you to integrate an external video source to your cars factory fitted iDrive screen.  This is the Picture in Picture version of the interface which allows you to display your original parking sensors (PDC) together with the rear camera image or video input and navigation in split screen view.  You can toggle between full screen and Picture in Picture mode using the original steering wheel controls.

Features include:

• Watch any video source on your BMW iDrive screen
  
• Switch between AV inputs and original BMW display by pressing and holding the "down arrow" button on the steering wheel
• Switch between Full screen and Picture in Picture mode by hodling down the "*" button on the steering wheel.
  
• Picture in Picture mode allows display of your original parking sensors and the rear camera image on the same screen
• Picture in Picture mode allows display your original navigation and any video input on the same screen
• Rear Camera guidelines provided by the interface.
  
• Can be used with both 8.8" and 6.5" monitors . (PIP Mode on 8.8" monitors only )  
• 2 display modes on 8.8" monitor [16:9/Ultra Wide]
  
• Three AV inputs, reverse camera input and RGB input
• Video out for viewing connectred video sources on rear entertainment screens
  
• Automatic switching to reverse camera via CAN-BUS or Connection to the rear reversing lamp
• Power output cable provides direct power to a rear view camera
  
• Interface can be installed without removing the head unit (connections can be made behind the screen)
• Remote control On Screen display menu for making changes to interface settings such as rear camear, parking guidlines, picture settings etc.
• External video sources can be viewed whilst in motion

Once installed, it gives you the ability to connect an in car DVD player, games console, iPod Video, Digital TV Tuner or Rear View Camera to keep your passengers entertained. The multimedia interface has a total of three video inputs, rear view camera input and RGB connection to add Satellite Navigation if you do not have the factory fitted option.
