The Blaupunkt Brighton 170BT car radio model is a great companion on every journey. Thanks to the FM/AM tuner, you can always listen to your favourite station, and the RDS function, in addition to improving the quality of reception and tuning, will display additional information, such as the title of the currently broadcast song, date and time or station name, which are provided by most broadcasters. Up to 30 stations can be stored in the radio's memory, so you don't have to search for the right frequency every time.

You can listen to music from several sources. The built-in Bluetooth module enables wireless transmission of music from devices compatible with this technology, and the EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) function increases the data transfer speed to 3 Mbps, which will eliminate any interference in reception.  The USB port (standard A) located on the front panel will allow you to connect various types of storage devices. Behind the panel there is a slot for SD and SDHC cards with a maximum capacity of up to 32 GB, which is enough to complete an impressive collection of music stored in the currently most popular MP3 and WMA formats. In addition, there is an AUX port on the front panel for connecting other audio sources. The radio has a 2-channel output for an external amplifier.

The built-in microphone, after pairing the radio with the phone, enables comfortable conversations, thanks to which the driver can fully concentrate on driving the car while using the hands-free function. The maximum power of 4×40 Watt, combined with good quality speakers, can provide a great acoustic experience in the interior of the car. In addition, the user can adjust the sound to their own preferences, adjust the bass and treble and use the predefined sound settings: flat, rock, pop and classic. The Brighton 170BT model has the X-Bass function, which significantly increases the level of low tones, thanks to which listening to music becomes extremely pleasant to the ear.

To increase the comfort of using the device, both by the driver and passengers, a remote control is included. The removable front panel acts as a theft protection for the head unit. The set includes a protective, rigid case for the panel.
