This device does not add CarPlay or Android Auto to your car, it only converts wireless CP or AA to wireless.
Wi-Fi connectivity is required to use Netflix or YouTube features. You will simply need to tap on the settings on your Home Screen and enter the wifi menu. Select the WiFi Network you will use and enter the password.
