Phono leads, also known as RCA leads, are a very important part of a car audio system. Used in amplified systems, they are used to transmit low-level voltage signals between hardware such as head units, amplifiers, crossovers and signal processors. Because an amplifier will amplify everything it receives, it is important to try and minimise noise and interference.
