AudioControl's Altitude A1100.5 five-channel amplifier's sleek anodized aluminum chassis protects the precision high-spec electronic components inside and provides high-temperature thermal dispersion through its stylish cooling fins. AudioControl designed this Altitude amplifier to power the music system in almost any vehicle — including some vehicles with stop-start electrical systems.

Performance

The A1100.5 can power four speakers with 90 watts RMS each plus a subwoofer with up to 600 watts RMS, so you'll hear and feel the full range and all the fine details of your music clearly when you're on the go. The amp can power separate tweeters and woofers in an active 2-way front stage plus sub-stereo system, thanks to the adjustable onboard crossovers' wide frequency ranges. Adjustable low-pass and subsonic crossovers plus a parametric-style bass boost help achieve the perfect bass tone. An optional wired remote bass knob lets you control the sub-level from your front seat.

Volume-level security

The A1100.5 has a Valet Mode feature that limits the amp's volume to 25% of its maximum when you engage it with your custom-installed switch (not included) — so parking lot attendants or your teenagers' friends can't damage your speakers or subwoofers by cranking up the volume too high when you're not around.
