Recordings can be seamlessly uploaded to the cloud if the DVR-F790 is connected to the internet via a smartphone hotspot or similar. Best of all: there is no limit to upload capacity. The ability to access your videos anytime, anywhere, ensures convenience and flexibility, and allows the user to easily share them with insurance companies or authorities as needed. This feature requires a free Thinkware Cloud account and allows 100 times per month to view or download content from the cloud.
Excellent Recording Quality in Full HD
High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology ensures optimal exposure and vibrant details, even in challenging lighting conditions. Exceptional clarity during night drives is provided by Super Night Vision 3.0, allowing for enhanced night-time visibility. The expansive 140-degree viewing angle allows for a wide perspective, capturing more of the road and surroundings in 1080p Full HD. Dewarping Technology provides an accurate front view with minimal distortion of the vehicle while visual irregularities are eliminated, and the true essence of the scene is preserved.
Advanced Parking Surveillance
With Energy Saving Mode 2.0 you can have parking surveillance of your vehicle for up to 17.5 days / 420 hours. If an impact to your vehicle is detected, the dash cam will wake up within 1 second and record the next 20 seconds. You will also receive a push notification to your mobile phone and you can immediately see what happened on your display. With Time Lapse, recording will be reduced to a rate of 2 frames per second, reducing the size of the file significantly.
Built-in Driver Assistance Features
The DVR-F790 comes packed with many driver assistance features such as Lane Departure Warning (when leaving the driver lane at speeds greater than 50km/h), Forward Collision Warning (when in danger of a forward collision) and Forward Vehicle Departure Warning. You can also activate Speed and Red-light Camera Warnings. All warnings can be individually disabled if not needed.
Super Night Vision 3.0
Ideal for late-night drivers, the DVR-F790 comes equipped with Super Night Vision 3.0 technology, which boosts exposure levels in low light conditions and enhances video brightness so you don’t miss important details while recording at night.
GPS Driving Data
Using GPS data in a dash cam, it can precisely pinpoint the vehicle’s location and routes with its driving speed on the map. GPS helps you accurately assess the status of the accident by providing you with the vehicle speed, the direction of the collision and the severity of impact. The DVR-F790 not only records driving footage but can also be used to track and recall past driving routes.
Rear Camera Expansion
Alpine offers a rear-view accessory camera (RVC-R790) that simultaneously records the traffic through your rear window. This gives you an extra layer of security while driving, as well as in parking surveillance mode. When recording in 2-channel mode, you get around 2 hours of recording time in 1080p using the supplied 32GB micro SD card, until non-event footage is overwritten. With an optional 128GB card, this can be extended to 498 minutes.
Build a Full Vehicle Surveillance System
If you connect the optionally available RVX-100 Camera Extension Hub to the rear recording channel of the DVR-F790, you can add up to 4 additional cameras to create a full vehicle interior/exterior surveillance system.
