Shipping & Returns

Shipping for small items (such as accessories) will not require any further carriage to UK non-mainland addresses - these will be shipped via UK Post Office. Shipping for larger items (and all items over 1Kg) to Rep.

Overseas Shipping

Ireland, N. Ireland, Channel Islands, Jersey, Guernsey and Scottish Highlands will automatically cost a further £10 over the amounts indicated above. Payment will be taken though Sage Pay. This amount will be automatically added to your order.

We now ship to many EU countries however the standard shipping charges do not apply - Price on application. We ask customers to list the goods they require and their full delevery address including zip codes. Our sales team will conact you to confirm shipping charges etc.

Order Availability

We will ship products that are IN STOCK on the SAME day of receiving your order, on our next-working day delivery service. We make every effort to ensure that our site has up-to-date information about product availability. If an item is not in stock at the time you place an order, we will put your order on our back order system and will ship as soon as product is received, please allow 3 - 7 days. If you wish to cancel the order you may do so. We will take appropriate steps to reimburse any payment you have made in respect of the product. 

 

Damage in Transit

If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to inform us within 24 hours of receiving the delivery

We recommend that you return items by Royal Mail registered post for safe delivery.

Faulty goods returned which have been inspected by our engineers and found not to be faulty will be returned to the customer and will incur an appropriate carriage charge. It is therefore very important that all items are checked for a legitimate fault, by the customer, before booking them in or returning them back to us.

Most items carry 12 months' warranty. Exclusions include subwoofer boxes, looms, wiring kits, remote controls, batteries, software discs, brackets, facia trims, cases, aerials, and speaker plates. Most ex-demo units carry 12 months warranty unless otherwise stated. Subwoofers are not covered for voice-coil damage due to abuse, overheating, or distortion. Speaker tinsel leads are not covered due to abuse. Damage caused to facia panels by misuse (ie. dropping) is not covered. We do not cover theft of facia panels, main units or any other item. Goods not collected will be disposed of after 14 days.

These Terms & Conditions of warranty and sale are in addition to your Statutory Rights. Your Statutory Rights remain unaffected.

Returns & Replacements

Returning Goods within the 7-Day Distance Selling Regulations (2000) 

If you wish to return a product purchased from us, you may do so within 7 working days of receiving the product. We will only refund the price of the product, less any delivery costs charged.

Please include the order number to enable us to trace the order. Goods must reach our warehouse within the 7 Day period. Certain exclusions apply (listed below).

Products returned for refund must be in the original packaging (i.e. outer carton) with no damage to the boxes or equipment. Items returned for refund which have any damage to internal packaging/wrapping, instruction manuals or damage to the outer box, will be subject to a handling charge.

Special order items - are not stock items and are ordered as when customers place orders. Full payment must be made prior to order placement. Special order item are non returnable or exchangeable and are exempt from the 7-Day Distance Selling Regulation 2000 returns policy.

Any item that is specific to a vehicle is also classed as “special order.” The item is non returnable or exchangeable, they are exempt from the 7-Day Distance Selling Regulation 2000 returns policy.

Ex-display or clearance products are expempt from the 7-day returns policy unless the product is faulty.

Items returned for refund or exchange which have been tested, trialed, or used will be subject to a greater handling charge. Any items returned with packaging missing/damaged or any other contents, such as looms, remote controls, instruction manuals will also be charged to the customer.

Any items that wish to be returned after the 7-day Distance Selling Regulations Notification period (and within 28 days of purchase) will be subject to a minimum 25% handling charge.

This is in addition to your statutory rights (returns within 7 days).

Where carriage was included FREE OF CHARGE within the initial order then we reserve the right to refund the purchase price less a charge of £10 for UK-mainland orders and £20.00 for UK (non-mainland orders, i.e. N. Ireland, Jersey, IOM, Channel Islands).

Please note that Software (unless it is still factory sealed and 100% intact) cannot be returned and is exempt from the 7-day Distance Selling Regulations. Custom made items or products altered or designed as per customer's specifications cannot be returned or refunded (i.e. cut cable, acoustic shelves, custom bass boxes).


Shortages: It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 48 hours of receiving the delivery.

Incorrect Goods: It is your responsibility to notify us of any in-correct goods within 48 hours of receiving the delivery

Faulty Goods

Any items returned faulty (which have been purchased and returned within 14 days) will be replaced and sent back to the customer carriage free.

Any items which develop a fault after 14 days of purchase will be serviced by our acting authorised service centre. Booking the faulty item is a simple procedure which can be done on-line. A returns authorisation number (R/A) will be issued once all the details have been submitted. The item will be collected from an address you provide and returned back to you once serviced. There are no charges for this service. Please allow 7 - 30 days for warranty work to be carried out.

Any products which cannot be repaired by our service centre will have to be returned by the customer, to our department. This will be the case on any products manufactured by Kicker, Veba, Autoleads, Beat, Alpine, Hertz, Rainbow, Massive, Audison, Connects 2, Boss Audio, Mutant, Diamond & Orion.

Any items rejected by the on-line system will also have to be returned back to Audio Visual World.

All prices stated on the website are inclusive of VAT, but exclusive of delivery costs, except where stated. Prices and availability of products may be changed due to manufactures listings or currency fluctuation at any time without notice.

Payment

Where payment is made by credit or debit card, you authorise us to debit your card with the total cost of the products selected plus VAT and delivery costs. Any refunds made in respect of returns or cancellation will be made to the same card. If your card cannot be verified or is any way unacceptable, the order will be cancelled immediately.

Title

Title to the product passes at the time of dispatch from our warehouse. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused during delivery.

Liability

We are not liable for loss of profits, loss of business or other consequential, special or indirect loss arising out of the use of any product purchased from this site. All implied warranties and undertakings are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
