The BlackVue DR600GW-HD dash camera fits nicely into any vehicle, as mentioned unlike many dash cameras the WiFi and GPS are built-in so there is no requirement to purchase additional dongles. The BlackVue DR600GW-HD also has what we think is a better viewing angle than most dash cams with a 133° field of vision. Built-in GPS
With built-in GPS, the BlackVue DR600GW-HD will record your vehicle speed and location for playback in either the BlackVue desktop software or BlackVue App.

You can pair with your smartphone or tablet using the BlackVue app and built-in WiFi, this allows you to upload and share videos to your YouTube channel or other Social Networking Services. Using the app also gives you access to the preferences of your BlackVue dash camera, with options to adjust settings such as Wi-Fi, LED notifcations, and voice notifications.
3 Recording Modes
(Normal, Event and Parking Mode)
Inside your BlackVue DR600GW-HD is a built in G-sensor and motion detector that will monitor for certain events. When switching on the dash cam make sure it is in a fixed position to allow the G-sensor to configure the stationary position. Then if your camera experiences sudden changes in direction, for example an accident or sudden braking it will switch the dash cam into event mode and save that segment of footage. As default it will save 5 seconds before the event and 55 seconds after the event, this can be adjusted within the preferences along with the sensitivity.
The parking mode will be activated once the camera has been stationary for 10 minutes.
Blackvue DR600GW-HD Desktop Software
The BlackVue software is helpful for reviewing footage, you have the usual functions play, pause, rewind, fast forward etc. Along with other useful options such as zoom for inspecting number plates, GPS speed and positioning which is plotted out onto a Google Map to show your journey. To use the software you simple pop the SD card into your Mac or Windows desktop, this can be done using the included USB to SD Card adapter. Then you can launch the software and begin reviewing your footage.
